Arsenal have decided to part ways with Thomas Partey once his contract expires on Monday. The Ghanaian midfielder was in talks with the Gunners over signing a new deal but they could not reach an agreement. The 32-year-old was a key part of Mikel Arteta's squad in the 2024-25 campaign, where he made 52 appearances across all competitions and recorded seven goal contributions.

reports that Partey will exit Emirates Stadium after spending five seasons at the club. He joined Arsenal in October 2020 from Atletico Madrid and over the years established himself as a key player in the Gunners' roster. He won the Community Shield with the club in 2023.

While Partey is set to move out, Arsenal are reinforcing the central midfield area. They are on the verge of sealing moves for Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad and Christian Norgaard from fellow Premier League outfit Brentford.
