The Gunners picked up three more points without their injured talisman Saka, beating rivals Chelsea 1-0 thanks to another Mikel Merino goal. It was the 12th Premier League match the England international has missed, but Arteta is hoping to have him back soon after the international break.

Earlier this month, the Gunners boss came under fire for walking out of a Sky Sports interview after being asked about the title race, but this time the Spaniard was asked about star winger Saka and he provided a much funnier response. He appeared to leave again before jinking back and re-entering the frame with a smile on his face. Arteta then confirmed Saka has a "good chance" of returning to action for Arsenal after the international break.

The win over Chelsea puts Arsenal 12 points behind leaders Liverpool, who will not play until after the international break due to their involvement in the Carabao Cup final.
